The Internal Complaint
Georgia State University

9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to identify
behavior that is discriminatory, know the steps to follow as a
complainant, and know what to do if they are the respondent.  Course
topics include The Law, Types of Complaints Processed by the Opportunity
Development/Diversity Education Planning Office, I have a
complaint...what should I do?, I am the accused...what are my rights?
and The Georgia Open Records Act. Comments from past participants
include "Informative - more role plays.  This could probably be a one
day session or 2 half days. Very helpful", "Great workshop", "I picked
up a lot of information to put into practice", "I enjoyed this seminar",
 "Timing could have been a little longer", "I wish I had known these
things 3-4 years ago", "Excellent, excellent program!", and "Very good!!
Learned a lot".

This workshop includes a mock investigation.
