Update of Georgia State University’s Best Practices in Diversity
Report 2008

The purpose of this announcement is to offer you and your area once
again the opportunity
to “brag” about what programs and/or projects you have or are
currently implementing that
have a positive impact on diversity. We are working towards letting
individuals know that
Georgia State University is continuously working to improve not only
the university community,
but also the community that surrounds us.

Please provide Chaneta Forts, AA/EEO Specialist II at: cforts1 at gsu.edu
with any projects you
currently have in place or are cultivating that show any or one or more
of the following activities:

1-Community Outreach/Articulations/Collaborations
2-Recruiting Practices
3-Promotion/Retention Promotions
4-Training Programs
5-Dispute Resolution
6-Cultural Programming
7-Curriculum Development
8-Management Initiative

All entries should be submitted to Chaneta Forts by June 30th.

Our last Best Practices in Diversity was published in 2002 and is
online at:
www.gsu.edu/~wwwafa. For an example of an entry submittal, please take
a moment to visit
our site for content, format, etc.

Many thanks for your continued support as we embrace the diversity we
reflect.
