Arrests 11/20/07 Decatur St 07-1008 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Theft by Taking. The officers were called by someone who saw the suspect taken items off of a cleaning crew cart. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 11/23/07 Urban Life 07-1012 Officers arrested two non GSU individual for Burglary and Possession of cocaine. Officers observed the suspects in Urban Life after hours and questioned the suspects. After a brief investigation the suspects were arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 11/27/07 Piedmont Ave 07-1023 Officers arrested two non-GSU individual for Affray. Officers observed the suspects fighting in the street. The suspects were arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Commons 07-1026 Officers arrested one GSU student and one non-GSU individual for possession of marijuana. Officers were called to the room by an RA who located the drugs. The resident and guest were arrested, processed and released on a copy of charges. 11/28/07 Luckie St 07-1030 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual Disorderly Conduct. Officers observed the suspect yelling and screaming. When asked to stopped he fought with officers. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Reports 11/16/07 Library North 07-1000 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:00 pm she left her phone in the library. When she returned 5 minutes later her phone was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Book Store 07-1001 A report was filed for theft from building. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that 1:20 pm someone jumped over the counter and took 9 books of the shelf. The case is being handled by Investigations. Courtland St 07-1002 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that while walking on Courtland st she noticed her wallet was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Lofts 07-1003 A report was filed for Criminal Trespass. The complainant, a GSU student, stated her Ex-boyfriend was in her apartment and refusing to leave. While leaving he broke a glass. The case is being handled by Investigations. 11/17/07 Commons 07-1006 A report was filed for Terroristic threats. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that her Ex-boy friend has been leaving harassing messages are her phone. The case is being handled by Investigations. 11/19/07 M Deck 07-1007 A report was filed entering auto. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 10:45 pm she parked her car in M-deck. When she returned at 1:00 pm she noticed her car was broken in. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 11/21/07 Loft 07-1009 A report was filed for Battery. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that he got into an argument with another student and the student brushed up against him. The case is being handled by Investigations. 11/26/07 Sparks Hall 07-1016 A report was filed for Theft from Building. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 12:45 pm she left her wallet on her desk. When she returned 5 minutes later she noticed her wallet was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 11/26/07 Sparks Hall 07-1017 A report was filed for Assault. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she and another student were working on a class project and we arguing. The complainant stated that the student threatening to beat her up. The case is being handled by Investigations. Rialto Theater 07-1018 A report was filed for Theft from building. An officer observed the suspect was out of the rialto with a purse and stopped the suspect. The owner of the purse stated that she did not want the press charges. The suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus. Kell Hall 07-1019 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. An officer observed an abandoned purse in an empty classroom. As he was looking in the purse the owner arrived and stated that she left it there by accident. She also stated that a credit card was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 11/27/07 G-Deck 07-1020 A report was filed for entering Auto. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 6:00 pm she noticed her car was broken into and a bag was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. General Classroom Building 07-1022 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property/ The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 3:30 pm she took her cell phone to the rest room in GCB and left it there. When she returned 10 minutes later she noticed her phone was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. College of Education 07-1024 A report was filed for theft from building. the complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 2:45 pm she left her flash drive in a computer and walked away. Arrests 11/30/07 Kimball Way 07-1033 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Possession of marijuana. The officer observed the suspect smoking marijuana and attempted to stop the suspect. The suspect fled on foot but was caught by the officer. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Commons 07-1035 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual fro Loitering. Officers observed the suspect panhandling around the commons. The officers had previously order the suspect not to be around the commons. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 12/2/07 Student Center 07-1038 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as an agency Assistance. The suspect was seen pulling on the doors to the student center. A criminal history check came back with an active warrant. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 12/5/07 John Wesley Dobbs Ave 07-1048 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Entering Auto. The officer observed the suspect breaking into a vehicle. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 12/6/07 Urban Life 07-1051 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal Trespassing. The officers were notified of a suspicious person in the building. Officers located the suspect and conducted a criminal history check which showed an active CTW. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Reports 11/30/07 Urban Life 07-1034 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. A security guard alerted police of a suspicious person in the building. Officers stopped the suspect and conducted a Criminal History Check which showed an expired CTW. The suspect was issued a new CTW and was escort off campus. 12/1/07 Commons 07-1036 A report was filed for Drunkenness. Officers were called to the commons for a student who had had too much to drink and was passed out. EMS was contact along with the student's parents. The student was taken to Grady hospital. 12/3/07 College of Education 07-1039 A report was filed for theft from building. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated on Friday she locked her office and left for the weekend. When she returned on Monday she noticed that someone had taken multiple items from her office. The case is being handled by Investigations. 12/4/07 Poplar St 07-1042 A report was file for theft from vehicle. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 12/3/07 she parked her car on poplar st. The next morning when she returned to her car she noticed her vehicle was broken into and her radio face plate was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Arts and Humanities 07-1043 A report was filed for Theft from building. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 11:40 am while working on a project her purse was taken while is was sitting next to her. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Commons 07-1044 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student stated she last saw her wallet at 1:32pm. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 12/5/07 Library North 07-1046 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a criminal trespass warning. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she observed the suspect masturbating in the library. When officers arrived the complainant could not be found however the suspect was located. The suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus. Stadium Parking 07-1049 A report was filed for Theft from Vehicle. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 12/4/07 she left her vehicle unlocked in the parking lot. When she returned the laptop she left in the passenger seat was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Gilmer St 07-1050 A report was filed for Theft from vehicle. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she parked her car on Gilmer St at 3:00 pm. When she returned an hour later her window was broken and her laptop was missing. A search of the area was conducted and the laptop bag was found but the laptop was not inside. 12/6/07 G-deck 07-1052 A report was filed for theft from vehicle. The complainant, a GSU Staff member, stated that on 11/30/07 he tag was taken from her vehicle. M-deck 07-1055 A report was filed for theft from vehicle. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 3:35 pm she returned to her vehicle and noticed that her window was broken and her laptop was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Student Center 07-1056 A report was filed for Transaction card fraud. The complainant, a GSU Student, stated that at 3:25 pm he left his ATM card in the ATM. When he came back to retrieve his card he notice someone had withdrawn fund from his account. The suspect was seen walking around the commons and officers stopped to ask him if he was a student. The suspect said he was not and a criminal history check was conducted with yielded a positive hit for a warrant. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken for Fulton County Jail. Peachtree St 07-1060 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Possession of marijuana. Officers stopped a vehicle for running a red light. Upon approaching the vehicle the officer smelled marijuana. A search of the suspect and vehicle revealed multiple bags of marijuana. The suspect began to run and later fought with officers. After being arrested officers found cocaine in his pocket. Officers were called the suspects room on a noise complaint. Upon entering the room officers observed the suspect and the underage persons. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that a former GSU staff member never turned in is purchasing card and used that card to make $4700 worth of purchases, all of which were not authorized. Aderhold 07-1062 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property the complainant, a GSU student, stated that on Saturday he took his final and left his book bag in the room. When he returned on Monday he noticed his laptop was missing from the bag. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.
