Arrests 12/22/06 University Center 06-1193 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal Trespass. The suspect was seen in the University Center at 6:10 pm and officers conducted a criminal history check which yielded positive for a prior Criminal Trespass Warning. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Rialto Theater 06-1194 Officers arrested a suspect as an agency Assist. Officers were contacted about a suspect buying ticket with a possible stolen credit card. A criminal history check was conducted which yielded positive for a warrant out of East Point GA. East Point PD was contacted and the suspect was turned over to their custody without incident. 12/27/06 Peachtree St. 06-1198 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for burglary. On 12/21/06 officers observed a non-GSU individual exiting the Flat Iron Building with a monitor. When officers attempted to question the suspect he took off running and was not caught that day. On 12/27/06 officers located the suspect and arrested him for the theft. The suspect was processed and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident. 12/29/06 Jesse Hill Dr. 06-1200 Officers arrested two non-GSU individuals for possession of cocaine. The officer observed the suspect going the wrong way on a one way street and stopped the vehicle. After an investigation it was determined that the two suspects had in their possession crack and powered cocaine and were taken into custody. The suspects were arrest, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 12/31/06 Park Place 06-1203 officers arrested a non-GSU individual for possession of marijuana. While checking bags for the New Year’s festivities officers observed a small bag of marijuana in the suspects bag. The suspect was arrested, processed and released on a copy of charges. 1/1/07 Lofts 07-0001 Officers arrest a GSU student for Underage Drinking. At 3:30 am officers were called by the CA to a loud party. The officers observed the suspect who was not 21 years old, intoxicated and in possession of alcoholic beverage. The suspect was processed and released on a copy of charges. 1/2/07 Decatur St. 07-0003 Officer arrests a non-GSU individual for Hit and Run. At 11:40 am the suspect caused an accident injuring a student who is now in stable condition, and ran from the scene. Officers were able to catch the suspect and he was arrested and turned over the Atlanta PD for multiple charges including hit and run and car jacking. Reports 12/22/06 G-deck 06-1195 A report was filed for entering auto. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 4:45 pm he parked his car in G-Deck. When he returned at 9:00 pm he noticed his window was broken. The complainant stated that nothing was missing from the vehicle. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 12/23/06 Sparta 06-1196 A report was filed for fraud. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 12/15/06 her credit card went missing and she later noticed that transactions were on her credit card that were not authorized by her. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 12/27/06 she noticed her ID and SSN card were missing and did not know where she last saw them. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 12/31/06 Sports Arena 06-1202 A report was filed for damage to property. At 5:15 pm the officer observed a window that had been broken by a rock that was thrown into the building. The case is being handled by Investigations. 1/1/06 Urban Life 07-0002 A report was filed for damage to property. At 10:00 am the complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that he noticed that a video equipment box had been damage as if someone had tried to take it. Sparta 07-0020 Officers arrested a GSU student for Possession of drugs with intent to distribute. The officers were called to Sparta by the CA for Room inspections. After making entry into the room a large amount of Marijuana was found and the student inside was questioned. The student was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. On Sunday, January 21, 2007 at 1:50 a.m., 4 GSU students and two Georgia Perimeter College students were car jacked while waiting at a red light by 3 subjects, one displaying a shotgun. The subject stole the student’s vehicle and stuck one of the students. The subject fled south bound on Centennial Olympic Park Drive. There was one reported injury and the student was treated and released at the scene. The suspects are described as three black males, all wearing beanie hats; one male had a goatee, the other had shoulder length hair (style unknown) and the other had a clean shaved face. The vehicle that the suspects were driving is described as a blue Pontiac Bonneville with a white rag top. If you see this vehicle you should notify the police immediately. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 2:00 am 2 suspects jumped out of their car and took the complainants car at gun point. The car has since been found. At 4:40 pm officers were call to a room in Olympia by a resident who believed someone in his room was smoking marijuana. When officers arrived they found a non-GSU student in the room but no drugs. The suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning and escorted off campus. Student Recreation Center 07-0064 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a criminal trespass warning. At 8:00 pm officers were call to the Rec Center for a disorderly person. When officers arrived they found the suspect yelling and throwing chairs. On Wednesday, January 24, 2007 at 5:00 p.m., a male GSU student was approached by a subject, who ordered the student to hand over his wallet at knife point. The suspect took the student’s wallet and then fled on foot into Underground. There were no reported injuries. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a black jacket, black pants, black skull cap and a white bandana. The knife was described as a switch blade knife. Arrests 1/24/07 Olympia 07-0066 Officers cited 6 GSU students and 1 GA Perimeter student for underage drinking. At 12:07 am officers were sent to the suspect’s room on a noise complaint. When the officers arrived they observed the seven suspects drink alcohol and none of the suspects were of age. All seven suspects were arrested and released on a copy of charges. Reports 1/24/07 Stadium parking lot 07-0067 A report was filed for criminal damage to property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 11:50 am she parked her car in the parking lot. When she returned at 12:35 pm she noticed her car window was broken but nothing was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Courtland building 07-0068 A report was filed for harassment. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 11:30 am she received a threatening voice message. The case is being handled by Investigations. Upper Wall at Peachtree St. 07-0069 A report was filed for Robbery. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 5:00 pm a male suspect wielding a knife ordered him to hand over his wallet. The case is being handled by Investigations. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 5:00 pm she left her purse in the University Center unattended. When she returned at 5:30 pm she noticed her Ipod was missing.
