Georgia State University Police Department

The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. January 8, 2006 through 7:00 a.m. Jan 9, 2007.

Arrests 

1/8/07
GSU Bookstore
07-0018	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for shoplifting. 
At 6:11 pm officers were sent to the bookstore in response to someone
stealing.  The suspect ran from officers but was caught with the stolen
property. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County
Jail.

Sparta
07-0020	Officers arrested a GSU student for Possession of drugs
with intent to distribute. The officers were called to Sparta by the CA
for Room inspections.  After making entry into the room a large amount
of Marijuana was found and the student inside was questioned.  The
student was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Reports 

1/8/07
Village
07-0015	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that about a month ago
she left her cell phone ($50) on the village shuttle.  A search of the
area was conducted with negative results. 	 

15 Edgewood Ave
07-0016	A report was filed for theft. The complainant, a GSU
staff member, stated that at 8:30 am he locked his bike up on Edgewood
Ave.  When He returned at 5:15 pm he noticed his back wheel was missing.
A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

Urban Life
07-0017	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 4:30 pm she put her
wallet ($64) under the desk in her classroom.  When the class was over
at 5:15 pm she noticed the wallet was missing. A search of the area was
conducted with negative results. 

Sports Arena
07-0019 	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 7:15 pm he noticed a
Play Station II ($109) missing from the arena.  A search of the area was
conducted with negative results.
