Georgia State University Police Department

The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. January 9, 2006 through 7:00 a.m. Jan 10, 2007.

Arrests 

1/10/07
Peachtree Center Ave
07-0025	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Driving on a
Suspended License.  At 12:10 pm officers observed the suspect fail for
yield to pedestrians and stopped the vehicle.  A criminal history check
was conducted which came back positive for a suspended license. The
suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton county jail.

Reports 

1/9/07
Sparta
07-0021	A report was filed for Theft from Building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:15 am he left his room.
When he returned at 1:00 pm he noticed his laptop ($1500) was missing. A
Search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

Information Desk
07-0022	A report was filed for Staking. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that a former co-worker was harassing and following him
around.  The case is being handled by Investigations. 

1/10/07
Olympia
07-0023	A report was filed for Criminal Damage to Property. At
3:30 am officers responded to flooding in Olympia. Water valves were
tampered with and the case is being handled by Investigations. 

University Center
07-0026	A report was filed for Theft from building.  The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 5:15 pm she left her books in
the lounge.  When she returned at 5:45 pm she noticed her books ($406)
were missing. A Search of the area was conducted with negative results 


University Center
07-0027	A report was filed for Theft from building.  The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 1:15 pm she left her purse in
the lounge.  When she returned at 2:20 pm she noticed her purse ($100)
was missing. A Search of the area was conducted with negative results
