The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports from 7:00 a.m. January 19, 2006 through 7:00 a.m. Jan 23, 2007.
Arrests
1/22/07
General Classroom Building
07-0062 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal Trespass. At 7:20 pm officers observed the suspect panhandling in GCB. A criminal history check was conducted which came back positive for a criminal trespass warning. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.
Reports
1/19/07
Urban Life
07-0057 A report was filed for theft from building. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that on 1/9/07 when he returned from holiday break he noticed his GSU laptop ($1700) was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.
General Classroom Building
07-0058 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she left her cell phone in the womenâs bathroom at 2:14pm. When she returned at 2:44 pm she noticed her phone ($70) was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.
1/20/07
Kell Hall
07-0059 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass warning. At 5:05 pm officers were called to a suspicious person in the bathroom. Officers conducted a criminal history check which came back positive. The suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning and escorted off campus.
1/21/07
Centennial Olympic Park Dr.
07-0060 A report was filed for Car Jacking. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 2:00 am 2 suspects jumped out of their car and took the complainants car at gun point. The car has since been found. The case is being handled by Investigations. *Note: the campus alert for this incident can be viewed at www.gsu.edu/gsupolice.

Olympia
07-0061 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a criminal trespass warning. At 4:40 pm officers were call to a room in Olympia by a resident who believed someone in his room was smoking marijuana. When officers arrived they found a non-GSU student in the room but no drugs. The suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning and escorted off campus.
Student Recreation Center
07-0064 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a criminal trespass warning. At 8:00 pm officers were call to the Rec Center for a disorderly person. When officers arrived they found the suspect yelling and throwing chairs. The suspect was issued a criminal trespass warning and escorted off campus.
