The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. June 27 2006 through 7:00 a.m. July 11 2007.

Arrests 


6/27/07
Sparks Hall
07-0533	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as an Agency
Assist. Officers observed the suspect in Sparks hall and conducted a
criminal history check. The suspect came back with a warrant. The
suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton county jail. 
Gilmer St
07-0539	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Disorderly
Conduct and Aggressive Panhandling. Officers observed the suspect
harassing a GSU student for money. The officers attempted to stop the
suspect but he ran.  Officers arrested the suspect and took him to
Atlanta detention center at Grady Hospital. 
6/29/07
Sparks Hall
07-0541	Officers arrested a GSU Staff member for Poss. Of
Marijuana. Officers observed the suspecting walking down the hall
smoking a joint. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton
County Jail. 

K-deck
07-0542	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Theft from
Auto.  Officers observed the suspect walking through the deck carrying a
lamp. When officers stopped the suspect he lied about his name and was
placed under arrest. While in custody officers observed that the lamp
and other items match the property stolen from a vehicle earlier. The
suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 
7/1/07
Broad St Plaza
07-0545	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Poss of
Marijuana. The suspect ran from officers with no reason. He later stated
he had some marijuana in his pocket. The suspect’s 8 bags of marijuana
were found and he was arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City
Jail.  

7/2/07
Woodruff Park
07-0546 	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Poss of
Marijuana. Officers stopped the suspect in the park after hours and
smelled the odor of marijuana. Officers found 5 bags of marijuana on the
suspect. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City
Jail.  

7/5/07
Decatur St
07-0551	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Driving with
a suspended license. Officers observed the suspect run a red light and
stopped the vehicle. A driver history check showed a suspended license. 
The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Calhoun Park
07-0552	Officers arrested two non-GSU individuals for
Obstruction. Officers observed the suspect in the park after being asked
to leave. When asked again the suspects became combative. The suspects
were arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 
7/6/07
Auburn Ave
07-0553	Officers arrested a non-GSU invidious for Poss. Of
Marijuana. The officers observed the suspect making a drug deal. When
they approach the suspect ate the drugs.  The suspect later admitted to
swallowing the drugs. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to
Fulton County Jail. 

7/10/07 
Auburn Ave
07-0558	Officers arrested two non-GSU individuals for Poss. Of
Cocaine. Officers observed the suspects loitering and attempted to talk
to the suspects. Both suspects attempted to swallow their drugs but were
not successful. The suspects were arrested, processed and taken to
Fulton County Jail. 

Auburn Ave
07-0560	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Poss. Of
Cocaine. Officers observed the suspect loitering and attempted to talk
to the suspect. The suspect attempted to swallow his drugs but threw it
back up. The suspect were arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County
Jail. 

Reports

6/28/07
College of Education
07-0540	Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning.  Officers found the suspect store personal items in COE.  The
suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus. 

7/2/07
Sparks Hall
07-0547	A report was filed for criminal trespass.  Officers were
called to an office in sparks hall for a window that was broken. The
case is being handled by Investigations. 

General Classroom Building
07-0548	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that on 7/2/07 she noticed that
a computer was missing. The computer was last seen on 6/28/07. The case
is being handled by Investigations.


Sparks Hall
07-0549	Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning. Officers observed the suspect panhandling in Sparks Hall. The
suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus. 

7/5/07
Student Center
07-0550	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that on 7/3/07 she noticed that
some paintings were missing. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

7/6/07
Edgewood Ave
07-0554	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she could not find
her text book. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.


Off Campus
07-0555	A report was filed for Fraud. The complainant, a GSU
staff member, stated that a former employee copied their last paycheck
and cashed it twice. The case is being handled by Investigations. 

7/9/07
Student Center
07-0557	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated they he left his phone
in the student center at 12:30 pm. When he returned 15 minutes later he
noticed his phone as missing. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results.
