Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. June 18 2006 through 7:00 a.m. June 15 2007.

Arrests 

6/20/07
Kimball Way
07-0502	Officers arrested two non-GSU individuals for Poss. Of
Marijuana. Officers observed a vehicle with the two suspects conduct
what appeared to be a drug deal. Officers ordered the car to stop but
the car took off.  Officers were able to catch the vehicle and the
suspects. The suspects were arrested, processed and taken to Fulton
County Jail. 

6/22/07
Edgewood Ave
07-0515	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Battery. 
Officers were called to Edgewood ave for a person who had been struck in
the face.  Officers were able to catch the suspect after he fled the
area. the suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County
Jail. The complainant was taken to Grady and is not GSU related. 

6/23/07
07-0518	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as an Agency
Assist. Officers observed the suspect with a bag of tools in front of
Urban Life at 2:00 am.  Officers stopped the suspect and conducted a
criminal history check which came back positive for a warrant. The
suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Library Plaza
07-0519	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Disorderly
Conduct. The officers observed the suspect whom he knew should not be on
campus. When the officer tried to talk to the individual the suspect
started yelling and cursing. The suspect was arrested, processed and
taken to Fulton County Jail. 
6/25/07
Andrew Young Building
07-0525 	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Burglary.
Officers were call to Andrew Young building in reference to a purse
being taken. Officers conducted a search of the area and located the
suspect who still had the purse. The suspect was arrested, processed and
taken to Fulton County Jail. The purse was returned to the staff member.


6/26/07
Library North
07-0534	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal
Trespass. Officers observed the suspect in Library North after he was
given a CTW. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton
County Jail.

6/18/07
Kell Hall
07-0488	A report was filed for Burglary. The complainant, a GSU
staff member, stated that at 8:00 am he noticed that three computers
were missing in Kell hall. The case is being handled by Investigations.

University Center
07-0489	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that a 4:30 pm she
could not remember where she left her bag. A search of the area was
conducted with negative results. 

Sports Arena
07-0490	A report was filed for Vandalism. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that at 2:39 pm she noticed that several light bulbs
were broken in the gym and the sinks in the bathroom were plugged
causing a flood in the bathroom.  The case is being handled by
Investigations.


M-Deck
07-0491	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
GSU student, stated that at 7:12 pm she noticed her vehicle had been
broken into but nothing was stolen.  A search of the area was conducted
with negative results.

Student Center
07-0494	A report was filed for Theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 10:40 am he noticed his bag
was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

Student Center
07-0495	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:15 am he left his bag on a
table in the student center and went to get breakfast.  When he returned
he noticed his bag was missing. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results. 

Sports Arena
07-0496	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 3:30 pm she left her cell
phone on a desk. When she returned she noticed it was missing. A search
of the area was conducted with negative results. 

6/20/07
Classroom South
07-0500	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 7:55 pm she
noticed it was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative
results. 
6/21/07
Classroom South
07-0503	A report was filed for Burglary.  Officers noticed that
a door in CS was off its hinges and investigated. The investigation
revealed that computers had been stolen from inside the classroom. The
case is being handled by Investigations.

Aderhold
07-0505	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 9:00 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

Sparks Hall
07-0507	Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning.  Officers observed the suspect panhandling in Sparks Hall. The
suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus.

07-0508	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 9:00 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

07-0509	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 9:00 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

Urban Life
07-0510	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 9:00 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from UL. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

07-0512	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 9:00 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

Aderhold
07-0514	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 2:30 pm he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

Sparks Hall
07-0517	A report was filed for Burglary. The officers found that
a computer room in sparks hall had its door taken off the hinges.  Two
computers were missing from the room. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

6/24/07
Classroom South
07-0520	Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning.  Officers observed the suspect in Classroom South at 9:30 pm
with no reason for being there. The suspect was issued a CTW and
escorted off campus.

07-0521	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 8:30 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

Kell Hall 
07-0522	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 8:30 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from Kell hall. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

07-0527	A report was filed for Theft of lost or mislaid
property. At 10:00 am the complainant, a GSU student, stated that he
could not find his cell phone. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results. 

Library South
07-0528	A report was filed for Theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 5/17/07 his laptop was taken
from the library.

07-0530	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 5:00 pm he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

07-0531	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 8:30 am he noticed that
a computer was missing from ALC. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

General Classroom Building
07-0533	A report was filed for Theft of lost or mislaid
property. At 10:00 am the complainant, a GSU student, stated that he
could not find his cell phone. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results.
