Arrests 3/3/07 Edgewood Ave 07-0190 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as an Agency Assistance. At 7:22 pm officers observed the suspect digging in a trash bin. Officer conducted a criminal history check of the suspect which came back positive for a warrant. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 3/4/07 158 Edgewood Ave 07-0192 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Disorderly Conducted. At 4:30 pm officers observed the suspect activate an emergency call box and walk away. When asked if he had an emergency the suspect stated that he did it for fun. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City Jail. 3/5/07 Wall St. 07-0195 Officers arrested two non-GSU individual for Poss. Of Marijuana. The officers observed the suspects trying to hide the drugs in a flower pot and stopped the suspects before they could flee. The suspects were arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City Jail. Reports 3/2/07 Wall St 07-0188 A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 7:07 pm she dropped her cell phone and did not realize it. When she returned to the area her cell phone was gone. Athina 07-0189 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. The officers entered the room in Athina and located the suspected drugs with the resident. Two non residents were with the resident and they were both issued CTWs and escorted off campus. 3/4/07 M-Deck 07-0191 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. Officers observed the suspect walking around in M-deck and recognized from a prior incident which he was ordered not to return to campus. Officers issued the suspect a CTW and escorted him off campus. 3/5/07 Library South 07-0193 A report was filed for Attempted Burglary. On 3/5/07 the complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that he noticed the door to a closet had been damage and it appeared someone tried to break in but was unsuccessful. The case is being handled by Investigations. Library Plaza 07-0194 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. Officers observed the suspect walking around the Plaza talking to him self and acting suspicious. Officers issued the suspect a CTW and escorted him off campus. Arts and Humanities 07-0196 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. Officers observed the suspect walking around the building and smelled a strong odor of alcohol. Officers issued the suspect a CTW and escorted him off campus. 3/7/07 General classroom Building 07-0197 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. Officers observed the suspect walking around the building looking in classrooms. Officers issued the suspect a CTW and escorted him off campus. Student Center 07-0198 A report was filed for theft. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 12:00 pm she locked her bike up outside of the Student Center. When she returned at 5:00 pm she noticed her bike was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 3/8/07 Sports Arena 07-0203 A report was filed for Theft from Building. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 3:15 pm she noticed a computer monitor had been taken from the Sports Arena. The case is being handled by Instigations. College of Business 07-0206 A report was filed for Theft from building. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 2:20 pm she left her purse in her office. When she returned at 2:30 pm she noticed that he purse was missing. A search of the area was conducted which yielded positive results; the purse was located in a trash can with all items present. Arrests 3/15/07 Hurt Park 07-0221 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for an Outstanding Warrant. At 9:00 am officers smelled what appeared to be marijuana coming from Hurt Park. When officers found the suspect he admitted to smoking marijuana and a criminal history check was conducted with came back positive for a warrant. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Reports 3/15/07 Library Plaza 07-0223 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that a suspect was harassing student in the plaza. Officer detained the suspect and issued him a CTW. The suspect was escorted off campus. Arts and Humanities 07-0224 A report was filed for theft from building. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:00 pm she left her purse in the arts building. When she returned at 9:37 pm she noticed her purse ($80) was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 3/16/07 Village 07-0225 A report was filed for an Attempted Suicide. At 3:30 am officers responded to a report that a female student had jumped from a third floor window in Sparta. Officers contacted EMS and the student was transported to Grady Hospital were she is in stable condition. The case is being handled by Investigations. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 4:20 pm he noticed his wallet was missing. When he contacted the credit card company the complainant was informed that his card had been used. Officers were sent to the Student center in reference to an individual who appear to be sick. When officers arrived they conducted a criminal history check on the suspect which came back positive as a run away from a Health care Home. The suspect was detained until he could be picked up by DeKalb County Authorities. Arrests 3/20/07 Library Plaza 07-0236 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal Trespass. Officers responded to a call of a person panhandling in the plaza. The officers located the suspect and conducted a criminal history check with came back positive for a previous CTW. The suspect was arrested processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 3/21/07 Aubrun Ave 07-0239 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as Service Assistance. Officers stopped the suspect for a traffic violation and conducted a criminal history check with came back positive for a warrant. The suspect was arrest, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Edgewood Ave 07-0241 Officers arrest a juvenile for carrying a concealed weapon. Officers responded to a fight call and when they arrived the suspect fled attempted to throw the weapon while fleeing. Officers arrested the suspect and retrieved the weapon. The suspect was issued a copy of charges and released to his parents. Reports 3/19/07 General Classroom Building 07-0234 Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass Warning. The officers observed the suspect in front of GCB with his hands down his pants touching himself. The officer issued the suspect a CTW and escorted him off campus. Alumni Hall 07-0235 A report was filed for Assault. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she arrived at Alumni Hall for the regent’s test but arrived late. The test administrator told the student that she had to leave and escorted her out touching her arm. The case is being handled by Investigations. 03/21/07 Information Desk 07-0237 A report was filed for Stalking. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she has noticed a man following her. The case is being handled by Investigations. Kell Hall 07-0238 A report was filed for theft from building.
