The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. March 14, 2006 through 7:00 a.m. March 16, 2007.

Arrests 

3/15/07
Hurt Park
07-0221	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for an
Outstanding Warrant. At 9:00 am officers smelled what appeared to be
marijuana coming from Hurt Park. When officers found the suspect he
admitted to smoking marijuana and a criminal history check was conducted
with came back positive for a warrant. The suspect was arrested,
processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Reports

3/15/07
Library Plaza
07-0223	Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning.  The complainant, a GSU student, stated that a suspect was
harassing student in the plaza.  Officer detained the suspect and issued
him a CTW.  The suspect was escorted off campus. 

Arts and Humanities
07-0224	A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:00 pm she left her purse in
the arts building. When she returned at 9:37 pm she noticed her purse
($80) was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative
results. 

3/16/07
Village
07-0225	A report was filed for an Attempted Suicide.  At 3:30 am
officers responded to a report that a female student had jumped from a
third floor window in Sparta.  Officers contacted EMS and the student
was transported to Grady Hospital were she is in stable condition. The
case is being handled by Investigations.
