The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. May 9, 2006 through 7:00 a.m. May 10, 2007.

Arrests 

5/9/07
Collins St
07-0388	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Theft by
Taking. An off duty GSU Police officer observed the suspect trying to
conceal a large saw under his jacket and stopped the suspect.  On duty
officers were called and questioned the suspect.  The suspect was
arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.  

Peachtree St
07-0390	Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Theft by
Taking.  Officers observed the complainant, who is an employee of the
Optometrist on Peachtree St running after the suspect who had taken
several pairs of glasses. Officers chased the suspect and caught him.
The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.

Reports

5/9/07
H-Lot
07-0386	A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 5/9/07 he lost
his phone. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

Student Center
07-0389	A report was filed for Terroristic Threats. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that he has been receiving
threatening phone calls from a known suspect. The case is being handled
by Investigations.
