An Attempted Robbery was reported to Georgia State University Police. 
On Wednesday, October 31, 2007, a GSU student reported that at 9:10
p.m., while walking up the stairs to Courtland St from Library Plaza, a
suspect approached him and grabbed his bag. The student fought back and
the suspect fled before taking any property. The student stated he
received several bruises but refused medical treatment.

The suspect is described as a black male, 20-23 years of age, wearing
black hoody and black pants. The suspect is about 5'6" in height and 160
lbs. The suspect showed no weapon
