Georgia State University Police Department 
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. September 28, 2007 through 7:00 a.m. October 2, 2007.

 

Arrests

9/28/07

Woodruff Park

07-0831       Officers arrested three non-GSU individuals for Poss. of
Marijuana. The officers observed the suspect smoking marijuana in the
park. The suspects were arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City
Jail.

 

9/29/07

Piedmont Ave

07-0836       Officers arrested a GSU student for Poss. of Marijuana.
Officers smelled the odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle and stopped
the vehicle.  A search yielded multiple bags of marijuana. The suspect
was arrested, processed and released on a copy of charges. 

 

Reports
9/28/07

College of Business

07-0828           A report was filed for theft from building. the
complainant a GSU staff member, stated that on 8/27 she left her wallet
in he desk. When she returned for work the next day she noticed he
wallet was missing. the wallet contained two GSU visa card, the case is
being handled by Investigations. 

 

1 Park Place

07-0829           A report was filed for Theft of Lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 1:15 pm
while in payroll she left her wallet in the payroll office.  When she
returned 10 minutes later she noticed her wallet was missing. A search
of the area was conducted with negative results. 

 

Commons

07-0832           A report was filed for harassment. The complainant,
GSU student, stated that for the last month she has been receiving
harassing phone calls. The case is being handled by Investigations.

Commons

07-0834           A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that on 9/28 he lost
his phone. 

 

Library South

07-0835           A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student,  stated that on 9/27 he lost
his phone. 

 

9/30/07

Natural Science Building

07-0837           A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid
property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that he left his wallet
in his bag at 7:10 pm.  When he returned ten minutes later his wallet
was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.
