The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. October 25, 2007 through 7:00 a.m. October 26, 2007.

No arrests were made.

 

Reports       

 

10/25/07

K-Deck

07-0922       A report was filed for a Suicide. Officers responded to
call of person who jumped from K-deck.  Officers arrived on scene and
secured the area. A Grady doctor was on scene and pronounced the person
dead on scene.  The Georgia Bureau of Investigations was called in to
processes the crime scene.  The person was not a GSU student, Staff or
Faculty.

 

M-Deck

07-024         A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
GSU student, stated that at 10:30 am he parked his car in M-Deck.  When
he returned at 4:00 pm he noticed his window was broken and his laptop
was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

 

10/26/07

Commons

07-0925       A report was filed for Possession of Drugs. Officers
responded to a call of an odor of marijuana.  Officers searched the room
and found over an ounce of marijuana. The case is being handled by
Investigations.
