Arrests
9/10/07
Aderhold 
07-0743A report was filed for Theft of lost or mislaid property. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 9:30 am he left his bag on a
chair in Aderhold. When he returned at 10:00 he noted his bag was
missing including his cell phone. The student's mother contacted the
suspect on her son's phone and the suspect offered to sell back the
phone for a fee.  Officers met the suspect instead and arrested him. The
suspect was processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Broad St Plaza
07-0744 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Poss of Cocaine.
Officers tried to stop a suspect who fled from police. When the suspect
was caught he had multiple bags of crack cocaine and marijuana on him.
The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.

07-0746Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Poss of Marijuana.
Officers observed the suspect leave the area when he saw the officers. 
When officers stopped to talk to the suspect he attempted to hide a bag
of marijuana in his hand. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken
to Atlanta City Jail.

University Bookstore
07-0749Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Fraud. The
complainant, a Bookstore employee, stated that the suspect was
attempting to use a check from a fraudulent account. The suspect was
arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.

Commons
07-0742A report was filed for Theft from Building. The complainant, a
GSU staff member, stated that she left some computer equipment in her
office on 9/5.  On 9/10 she noticed the computer equipment was missing.
She also stated that the door to her office was left unlocked all the
time. The case is being handled by Investigations. 


Student Center
07-0745A report was filed for theft from building. The complainant, a
GSU student, stated that at 7:00 am she fell asleep in the Student
Center. At 10:50 am she awoke to find her laptop bag including her
laptop missing from her side. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results. 

Edgewood Ave
07-0748A report was filed for entering auto. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that at 11:30 he noticed that someone broke into his
vehicle using a brick and took his sunglasses. A search of the area was
conducted with negative results.

Campus
07-0750A report was filed for Harassment. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that someone has been following her while on campus for
the last few weeks.  The case is being handled by Investigations. 

Library North
07-0751A report was filed for Theft of lost more mislaid property. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 3:00 pm she noticed her purse
was missing from the library. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results. 

Courtland St
07-0752 A report was filed for a Service Assistance. Officers responded
to Courtland St just outside of G-deck for staff member that was hit by
a vehicle. The vehicle jumped the curb and hit the staff member. The
staff member was taken to Atlanta Medical Center and is in stable
condition. The driver was cited by Atlanta Police.

5 Points Parking 
07-0753A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a GSU
faculty member, stated that at 6:00 pm he returned to his vehicle and
noticed his radio and navigation system missing from his vehicle. The
case is being handled by Investigations.
