The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. September 24, 2007 through 7:00 a.m. September 25, 2007.

 

Arrests
 9/24/07

Decatur Street/Piedmont Avenue

Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for an Outstanding Non-Felony
Warrant.  The officer observed the suspect drive through a red light. A
Driver History check was conducted which yielded positive results for a
Non-Felony Warrant out of Athens Clarke County. The suspect was
arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

 

Reports
 9/24/07

Student Center

A report was filed for Criminal Trespass Warning. While on patrol the
officer observed an individual behaving in a suspicious manner. A field
interview was conducted and found that the individual did not have any
business with Georgia State University. The suspect was issued a
Criminal Trespass Warning and escorted off campus without incident. 

University Commons (Building A)

A report was filed for Odor of Marijuana. The officer responded to a
complaint that there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the 8th
floor. Upon searching the room, it was determined that two individuals
had been smoking marijuana. The non-GSU individual was given a Criminal
Trespass Warning. The resident will be disciplined by Housing Staff.
