Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. April 3, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. April 4, 2008.

Arrests
04/03/08
5 Points Parking Garage
08-0307	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Drugs. At
6:00 p.m. officers observed the suspect enter the parking deck acting
suspicious. Officers made contact with the suspect which stated he did
not have a vehicle parked in the deck. Officers discovered a crack pipe
on the suspect and the suspect then advised officers he was also in
possession of crack cocaine. The suspect was then arrested, processed
and transported to Fulton County Jail without incident.

04/03/08
College of Education
08-0299 	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning. At 9:04 a.m. officers observed the individual in the
lobby and recognized him as an individual they had previously escorted
out of another G.S.U. building. The individual was issued a Criminal
Trespass Warning and escorted off campus without incident.
   
04/03/08
Loft Parking Deck
08-0300 	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning. At 11:06 a.m. officers were advised of an individual
looking into vehicles in the parking deck. Officers made contact with
the suspect. A G.C.I.C. check was conducted which came back with
negative results. The suspect was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and
was escorted off campus without incident.

University Commons
08-0301	A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a G.S.U.
student stated at 9:30 a.m. she noticed her Sony W550I cell phone was
missing which she had placed on a window ledge in an office. The area
was checked with negative results.

S Parking Deck
08-0303	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. staff member stated he parked his vehicle at 10:00 a.m. and upon
his return at 12:30 p.m. on same date, he noticed his trunk lock had
been tampered with and various items were missing. The case is being
handled by Investigations.

Classroom South
08-0304	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a G.S.U. student stated on 03/26/08 at 12:06
p.m. he left his blue-in-color book bag containing various items in a
classroom and upon his return on same date at 2:15 p.m. the book bag was
missing. The area was checked with negative results.

04/03/08
Library South
08-0305 	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning. At 4:10 a.m. officers were advised of an individual
looking at inappropriate photos on the computer. Officers made contact
with the suspect. A G.C.I.C. check was conducted which came back with
negative results. The suspect was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and
was escorted off campus without incident.

08-0308	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a G.S.U. student stated at 9:00 a.m. she
noticed her red-in-color wallet containing various items was missing.
The area was checked with negative results.

5 Points Parking Garage
08-0309	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. student stated she parked her vehicle at 12:30 p.m. and upon her
return at 7:00 p.m. on same date, she noticed her rear window was
shattered and various items were missing. The case is being handled by
Investigations.

04/03/08
Commons Parking Deck
08-0311	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. student stated she parked her vehicle on 04/01/08 at 8:00 p.m.
and upon her return on 04/03/08 at 4:00 p.m. she noticed various items
were missing. There were no signs of forced entry. She advised her
passenger door was left unsecured. The case is being handled by
Investigations.
