Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. April 8, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. April 9, 2008.

Arrests
04/08/08
Broad St. / Walton St.
08-0316 	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual on an Agency
Assist.  At 10:30 a.m. Officers observed an individual fitting the
description of a B.O.L.O. that was posted by Marta Police Department.
Officers made contact with the individual and confirmed her identity as
the individual on the B.O.L.O. The individual was then detained and
turned over to Marta Police Department for processing.

Reports
04/08/08
N Parking Deck
08-0321	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. student stated she parked her vehicle at 8:00 a.m. and upon her
return at 2:30 p.m. she noticed the trunk of her vehicle was open and
the key hole was punched out. There were no items reported missing from
the vehicle. The case is being handled by Investigations.

04/08/08
General Classroom Building
08-0322	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a Non-G.S.U. individual stated on 04/02/08 at
5:30 p.m. she placed her silver/grey-in-color T-Mobile cell phone and
black-in-color carrying case in a classroom. Upon her return on same
date at 7:15 p.m. the cell phone was missing. The area was checked with
negative results.

04/08/08
Student Recreation Center
08-0323	A report was filed for Affray. At 7:40 p.m. officers
responded to an injured person call. When officers arrived, several
witnesses stated the (victim) a G.S.U. student had a verbal disagreement
with two unknown black males. They stated one of the black males struck
the victim in the face causing a laceration and knocking him
unconscious. The two unknown individuals then left the scene. The victim
was transported to Grady Hospital by Grady E.M.S. The case is being
handled by Investigations. 

04/08/08
Stadium Parking Lot
08-0324	A report was filed for Attempted Theft of Auto. The
complainant, a G.S.U. student stated she parked her vehicle at 9:00 a.m.
and upon her return at 10:30 p.m. she noticed her vehicle ignition was
ripped off and wires hanging as if someone attempted to hot wire the
vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry. The case is being handled
by Investigations.
