The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. April 10, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. April 11, 2008.

Arrests
04/10/08
Poplar St.
08-0333 	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual on an Agency
Assist.  At 6:57 p.m. Officers were advised of a suspect that had fled
from a Fulton County Deputy during an arrest.  Officers apprehended the
suspect and turned him over to Fulton County Sheriff’s Department for
processing.

Library North
08-0332	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a Non-G.S.U. individual stated at 11:00 a.m.
he placed his tan-in-color shoulder bag on the ground and upon his
return at 11:04 a.m. the shoulder bag containing various items was
missing. The area was checked with negative results.

University Commons
08-0334	A report was filed for Odor of Marijuana. The
complainant, a G.S.U. staff member stated at 6:49 p.m. she smelled what
appeared to be marijuana. The complainant as well as the officers
entered the room and in plain view were several drug paraphernalia items
as well as marijuana seeds and stems. The resident of the room confirmed
all items were his property. The case is being handled administratively
by Housing.

Marietta St / Forsyth St.
08-0335	 A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a G.S.U.
student stated at 7:30 a.m. as he departed Western Union two unknown
individuals approached him and scammed him out of his money. The case is
being handled by Investigations.
