The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. April 14, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. April 15, 2008.

Arrests
04/14/08
University Commons
08-0344	Officers arrested a G.S.U. student for Possession of
Marijuana. At 4:14 p.m. officers were advised of possible cocaine use by
a G.S.U. staff member. Officers as well as Housing staff entered the
room and smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Housing staff located
marijuana which the student indicated was his property. The student was
then arrested and released on a copy of charges.

Reports
04/14/08
Classroom South
08-0340 	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning. At 10:04 a.m. officers were advised of a male in the
ladies restroom. Officers then made contact with the individual. The
individual was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and escorted off
campus without incident.   

04/14/08
Urban Life
08-0341	A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a G.S.U.
student stated at 12:10 p.m. she fell asleep for a few minutes and when
she woke up a male was sitting in the seat next to her. She later
checked her purse and her Sprint cell phone was missing. The case is
being handled by Investigations.

Library Plaza
08-0342	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a G.S.U. student stated at 1:20 p.m. he was
sitting in the plaza and briefly got up to throw something away and upon
his return he noticed his Blackberry Curve was missing. The area was
checked with negative results.

04/14/08
G Parking Deck
08-0345	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. staff member stated she parked her vehicle at 8:30 a.m. and upon
her return at 5:00 p.m. she noticed her back right side window was
shattered and a black case containing various papers was missing. The
case is being handled by Investigations.

04/15/08
Classroom South
08-0346 	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning. At 2:56 a.m. officers were advised of a male sleeping
near the elevators.  Officers then made contact with the individual. The
individual was issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and escorted off
campus without incident.
