The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. April 18, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. April 22, 2008.

 

Arrests

 

4/18/08

Auburn ave

08-0357      Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Possession and
sale of cocaine.  Officers observed the suspect conduct a drug
transaction and went to arrest the suspect. The suspect fled and fought
officers who were able to detain the suspect.  The suspect was arrested,
processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

 

4/19/08

Library North

08-0358      Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Criminal
Trespass.  Officers observed the suspect in the library after he had
been banded from it.  The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to
Fulton County Jail. 

 

Reports

 

4/18/08

Broad St @Walton St

08-0356      A report was filed for Robbery. The complainants, two GSU
students, stated that at 11:08 pm they were walking to a friend's house
when three black males approach them.  The suspects then ordered them to
hand over their wallets.  No weapons were used and there were no
reported injuries. The case is being handled by Investigations. 

 

4/19/08

Library North

08-0359      A report was filed for theft from building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated that she fell asleep in the library
at 12:30 pm.  When she awoke at 1:45 pm she noticed her cell phone was
missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

 

4/21/08

Off Campus

08-0361      A report was filed for Harassment. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that another student was making threatening phone calls
to her. The case is being handled by Investigations. 

 

General classroom Building

08-0362      A report was filed for theft of lost or mislaid property.
The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 1:30 pm she left her book
in the 2nd floor bathroom. When she returned a few minutes later her
book was gone. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.


 

Commons

08-0363      A report was filed for rape. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that her ex-boy sexually assaulted her. The case is
being handled by Investigations. 

 

08-0364      Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning. The suspect was seen harassing and yelling at the security
guards. When officers arrived they issued him a CTW and escorted him off
campus.
