The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. February 8, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. February 11, 2008.
Arrests
02/08/08
Urban Life
08-0102 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual as an Agency
Assistance. Officers responded to a verbal dispute at 12:40 p.m. The
officers then conducted a criminal history check which confirmed two
active warrants on one of the suspects. The suspect was then arrested,
processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.
Reports
02/08/08
Urban Life
08-0101 A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property.
The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 11:40 a.m. he
noticed his portable radio was missing. A search of the area was
conducted with negative results.
General Classroom Building
08-0105 A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a GSU
faculty member, stated that at 7:40 p.m. she noticed a black male, 18-20
years old, 5'5" in height, 140 lbs, with light complexion exit a room
carrying computer equipment and enter the stairwell. She stated the
suspect then returned and handed her the equipment. The case is being
handled by Investigations.
Student Recreation
08-0106 A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a GSU
student, stated that at 6:30 p.m. he noticed his red 21 speed mountain
bike was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative
results.

University Commons Parking Deck
08-0107 A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid Property.
The complainant, a Non-GSU individual, stated that at 6:00 p.m. she
noticed her purse containing various items was missing. A search of the
area was conducted with negative results.
University Commons
08-0108 A report was filed for Odor of Marijuana. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that 11:58 p.m. she smelled an
odor of marijuana. Officers arrived and noticed marijuana on a desk in
the room which was turned over to Investigations. The students involved
were not present at the time. The case is being handled by
Investigations.
