The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. July 3, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. July 7, 2008.

Arrests
7/3/08
Piedmont Ave
08-0529	Officers arrested a Non-GSU individual for Obstruction
and Aggravated Assault.  Officers attempted to move along a suspect that
was panhandling and the suspect attacked the officer biting him. The
suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. 

7/4/08
Hurt Park
08-0530	Officers arrested a Non-GSU individual for Disorderly
Conduct. Officers observed the suspect sleeping in the park and when
they went to talk with him he became aggressive. The suspect was
arrested, processed and taken to Atlanta City Jail.

08-0531	Officers arrested a Non-GSU individual for Disorderly
Conduct. Officers observed the suspect sleeping in the park and when
they went to talk with him he became aggressive. The suspect was
arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail.


Reports
7/3/08
Citizens Trust
08-0526	A report was filed for Theft from Building. The
complainant, a Non-GSU individual stated on 6/30/08 he noticed $230
missing from his desk. The case is being handled by Investigations. 


Student Center
08-0527	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a Non-GSU individual, stated at 4:00 p.m. he
awoke from sleeping in the Student Center and found his bag missing. A
search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

Library North
08-0528	A report was filed for Theft from Building. The
complainant, a GSU student, stated at 5:00 p.m. he left his bag on a
table to go get a book. When he returned at 5:15 p.m. his bag was
missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results
