Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. July 25, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. July 28, 2008.

Arrests
07/26/08
Library North
08-0576 	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual on an Agency
Assist/Criminal Trespass Warning.  At 10:55 a.m. Officers observed the
individual in the Library and once the suspect observed the officers he
quickly walked away. Offices made contact with the individual and
conducted a G.C.I.C. check which confirmed and active warrant. The
suspect was issued a CTW, arrested and was transported to Fulton County
Jail.

07/27/08
Peachtree Center Ave.
08-0577	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Drugs. At
7:12 a.m. officers observed the suspect exit a closed parking deck.
Offices made contact with the suspect and while writing a CTW the
suspect continued to raise his voice. While waiting on the paperwork
officers requested to conduct a search, which the suspect approved.
During the search officers located pills and marijuana which were
individually bagged. The suspect was issued a CTW, arrested and
transported to Fulton County Jail.  

Reports
07/25/08
Decatur St.
08-0575	A report was filed for Fighting. The complainant, a
Non-G.S.U. individual, stated at 4:40 p.m. he observed several
individuals in a physical fight. Officers made contact with the
individuals which were all juveniles. The parents were contacted and
advised about the situation. All of the juveniles were released into the
custody of their parents.

07/27/08
Library South
08-0578	A report was filed for Theft. The complainant, a G.S.U.
student, stated at 11:10 a.m. she left a G.S.U Dell Latitude Laptop and
her Motorola Razor phone unattended while she took a break. When she
returned the items were missing. The area was checked with negative
results.

07/27/08
Library North
08-0579	A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a G.S.U. student, stated she entered the
Library at 1:00 p.m. and when she left at 8:30 p.m. she noticed her
purple wallet containing various items were missing. The area was
checked with negative results.
