Georgia State University Police Department

The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. June 4, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. June 5, 2008.

 

Arrests

06/04/08

Peachtree St @ Walton St

08-0467      Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for Battery.  The
complainant, a non-GSU individual, stated that at 1:00pm the suspect hit
her in the face for no reason. The suspect was arrested, processed and
taken to Fulton County Jail. 

Reports

 

06/04/08

Standard Building

08-0464      Officers issued a non-GSU individual a Criminal Trespass
Warning. Officers located the suspect sleeping behind the Standard
Building. The suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus.   

 

Education Building

08-0466      A report was filed for Theft from Building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that on 5/13/08 an inventory was
conducted of department laptops and all were accounted for.  Another
inventory was conducted on 5/27/08 and one laptop was missing. The case
is being handled by Investigations. 

 

M-deck

08-0468      A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
GSU student, stated that at 9:00 am she parked her car in M-deck. When
she returned at 4:30 pm she noticed her window was broken and her laptop
was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 

 

Sparks Hall

08-0469      A report was filed for Theft from Building. The
complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that at 8:50 am she left her
purse in her office. When she returned at 4:23pm she noticed her wallet
was missing from her purse. A search of the area was conducted with
negative results.
