The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that on 3/14/08 he left a bag containing numerous electronic devices in the building. When he returned on 3/17/08 he noticed the bag was missing. The case is being handled by Investigations. University Commons 08-0238 A report was filed for Theft from Building. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that after getting out of the shower she noticed cash and an mp3 player missing from her room. The case is being handled by Investigations. University Commons 08-0240 A report was filed for Theft from Building. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that she left her jacket in a room at the Commons over night. When she returned her IPod that was in the jacket was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Arrests 03/20/08 University Commons 08-0243 Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual on an Agency Assist. The complainant, a G.S.U. staff member stated at 7:27 p.m. she smelled a strong odor of marijuana. Officers made contact with the resident and one Non-G.S.U. individual in the room. Officers then conducted a G.C.I. C.check which indicated the Non-G.S.U. individual had an active warrant. The suspect was then issued a Criminal Trespass Warning, arrested, processed and transported to Fulton County Jail. 03/19/08 Edgewood Ave / Courtland St 08-0244 Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Obstruction. At 8:56 p.m. Officers observed the individual commit a traffic violation. When officers made contact with the driver she was confrontational and refused to sign the citations. Arrests 03/21/08 Shell Station/John Wesley Dobbs 08-0249 Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual on an Agency Assist. At 10:45 p.m. Officers observed the suspect attempting to enter the commons via the turnstile. Officers attempted to make contact with the suspect and he fled the area. Officers apprehended the suspect and were advised the suspect committed armed robbery off of G.S.U. property. The suspect was then arrested and turned over to Atlanta Police Department for processing. 03/23/08 Urban Life 08-250 Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Criminal Trespass. At 7:45 a.m. officers observed the suspect sleeping in a chair. A G.C.I.C. and Criminal History check was conducted which indicated the suspect had an active Criminal Trespass Warning. The complainant, a G.S.U. staff member stated she parked her vehicle at 8:00 a.m. and upon her return at 4:05 p.m. she noticed her driver’s side passenger window was shattered. At 4:32 p.m. officers were advised of a possible odor of marijuana. Officers then made contact with the resident and five visitors. The resident advised they all had been smoking marijuana. At 2:06 a.m. Officers were advised of two individuals entering the front gate without an escort. While obtaining information another individual was observed causing a disturbance.
