Georgia State University Police Department
The following is a summary of Georgia State University Police reports
from 7:00 a.m. March 07, 2008 through 7:00 a.m. March 10, 2008.

Arrests
03/08/08
Shell Station/John Wesley Dobbs.
08-0199	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Possession
of Marijuana. The complainant, a G.S.U. staff member stated at 3:30 p.m.
he observed the suspect, a former resident which had been issued a
C.T.W. on the property. Officers made contact with the individual in his
vehicle and smelled an odor of marijuana. Officers then observed a green
leafy substance which tested positive for marijuana. The suspect was
then arrested, processed and transported to Fulton County Jail.

03/09/08
5 Points Parking Garage
08-0201	Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Theft.The
complainant, a Non-G.S.U. individual stated at 3:28 p.m. the suspect
took $20 dollars from him for parking, indicating he would bring him
change then departed the area. The suspect was then arrested, processed
and transported to Fulton County Jail.

Urban Life
08-0194	A report was filed for Criminal Trespass. The
complainant, a G.S.U. staff member stated at 11:00 a.m. he noticed the
magnetic seal on the Instructor’s podium had been ripped off. The case
is being handled by Investigations.

Art & Humanities
08-0196	 A report was filed for Theft of Lost or Mislaid
Property. The complainant, a Non-G.S.U. individual stated at 4:15 p.m.
he realized his grey-in-color rain coat containing various items was
missing. The area was searched with negative results.

03/07/08
University Commons
08-0197	Officers issued two Non-G.S.U. individuals a Criminal
Trespass Warning. While on patrol at 5:30 p.m. Officers observed an odor
of marijuana in the stairwell. Officers then made contact with  two
individuals. The suspects were issued a Criminal Trespass Warning and
escorted off campus without incident. 

03/07/08
Courtland St. / Gilmer St.
08-0198	A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a
G.S.U. student stated at 5:00 p.m. he parked his vehicle and upon his
return he noticed his driver’s side window broken out. There were no
items reported missing. The case is being handled by Investigations.

03/09/08
Classroom South
08-0200	Officers issued a Non-G.S.U. individual a Criminal
Trespass Warning.  At 7:40 a.m. Officers observed the individual
sleeping on a couch. Officers then issued the suspect a Criminal
Trespass Warning and escorted the suspect off campus without incident.
