Arrests 4/30/08 G-Deck 08-0397 Officers arrested a Non-G.S.U. individual for Theft. Officers observed the suspect leaving the Classroom South Building with a large trash bag. Officers detained the suspect and found cleaning supplies in the suspect’s bag. The supplies were identified as belonging to G.S.U. and the suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Reports 4/30/08 Stadium Parking Lot 08-0395 A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a G.S.U. student, stated on 4/29/08 she returned to her vehicle and noticed the window broken and the vehicle had been ransacked. No property was taken from the vehicle. Arrests 5/4/08 Piedmont Ave 08-0410 Officers arrested a non-GSU individual for DUI. At 1:30 am the suspect's vehicle ran a red light almost hitting an officer. The officer stopped the vehicle and determined the suspect to be under the influence. The suspect was arrested, processed and taken to Fulton County Jail. Piedmont Ave 08-0411 A report was field for Agency Assist. Officers were notified of two robbery suspects driving red vehicle. Officers spotted the vehicle and were able to detain the suspect. Atlanta Police arrived and stated that the two suspects were involved in the robbery and they were turned over to APD. Reports 5/2/08 5 Points Plaza 08-0401 A report was filed for Simple Battery. The complainant, a GSU Staff member, stated that at 8:55 am while walking through the plaza, a black female approached her screaming and then slapped her. The case is being handled by Investigations. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated that after conducting an inventory of GSU owned computers he noticed that one computer had been sent off for repairs and then shipped directly to a former staff members residence. The complained, a GSU staff member, stated at 11:00 am that she had seen the same person on the 8th floor for 2 days. Officers located the suspect and determined her should not be in the building. The suspect was issued a CTW and escorted off campus. 5/3/08 SKN Deck 08-0406 A report was filed for Criminal Damage to Property. At 1:00 am officers notices the door to the attendants booth was open. The lock appeared to be damaged but nothing was missing from the booth. The case is being handled by Investigations. The complainant, a GSU student, stated that at 7:15 am she parked her car behind the Ga Bookstore and left to go take a final. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. 5/28/08 Recreation Center 08-0451 A report was filed for Theft of Bicycle. The complainant, a GSU student, stated at 9:23 a.m. she locked her bike up outside of the Recreation Center. When she returned at 10:05 a.m. she noticed her bike was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Underground Parking 08-0452 A report was filed for Entering Auto. The complainant, a GSU staff member, stated at 11:20 a.m. he parked his car. When he returned at 6:50 p.m. he noticed his window was broken and his GPS was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results. Sparks Hall 08-0454 A report was filed for Theft of lost or mislaid property. The complainant, a GSU student, stated at 9:25 p.m. she left her wallet on a bench. When she returned at 10:08 p.m. she noticed her wallet was missing. A search of the area was conducted with negative results.
